What are house watching services?

Short answer: A safety net.

Home watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues. Your Highlands County home watch professional is there to look after the home and to catch or prevent disasters such as water damage.

What do house watching services include?

Short answer: An interior and exterior visual home inspection.

The basics of house watching services include: checking for leaks, ensure the refrigerator is properly working, check the A/C temperature, ensuring the yard is being maintained, and checking doors and windows for cracks.

When requesting a quote, we will create a personalized checklist for your home.

Do I need home watch services?

Some insurance companies may require it.

The National Home Watch Association recommends that homes are checked on a bi-weekly basis. Also, some insurance companies may require it to cover certain damages!

What if there's a problem at my house while I'm away?

You're in luck!

First off, you'll be thankful you chose the right path by hiring a home watch professional. Our goal is to catch small problems and report them to you before they turn into major problems that could cost you thousands of dollars.

Can I request additional services?

Sure thing!

Need to charge your golf cart? Want us to turn on and off the water? Water the plants? Let us know what you need done and we'll see what we can do!

How often should will you visit my home?

Every client is different.

The NHWA recommends checking your home every two weeks. However, if there is a major storm or if you would feel more comfortable with us visiting your home more frequently, we can definitely set that up!
